What’s the best part about digging through an old hard drive? Remembering Zwan, Billy Corgan’s much-maligned side project that somehow managed to become my favorite thing he’s ever done.
That or the creeping sense that 90% of the papers you wrote in college were motivated by getting the right grade!

This wall fell casualty to an immense piece created by the amazing artist blu a few years back. You can see him putting it up here. He turned the space into something internationally recognized. My brother and I posted up in its prescence for a good thirty minutes. It was a highlight of an already amazing trip.
Still, something about the wall’s previous beauty gets me. And its loss. Can’t help but think about the price of greatness.
